Travel Weekly Releases 2025 Power List of Top-Performing Travel Agencies
Travel Weekly Releases 2025 Power List of Top-Performing Travel Agencies
?
Rutherford, NJ (June 23, 2025) — Travel Weekly today announced the release of its 2025 Power List, the definitive annual ranking of the travel industry’s top-selling retail agencies based on 2024 performance. This year’s list features 70 companies, each of which recorded at least $125 million in gross travel sales — an increase from the $110 million threshold in 2024 — highlighting the continued growth and concentration of influence among the industry’s most successful players.
?
“The Power List is more than a measure of sales — it’s a recognition of resilience, innovation, and influence,” said Arnie Weissmann, Editor in Chief of Travel Weekly. “To be named to the Power List is to be counted among the companies shaping the future of travel. These agencies are leaders in service, technology, and strategic foresight, and they continue to raise the bar for what it means to serve today’s traveler.”
?
Key trends emerged across survey responses. Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to be a top priority, both for operational efficiencies and customer-facing experiences. Agencies also noted expanded NDC (New Distribution Capability) connections, efforts to manage travel complexity, and heightened focus on sustainability, cost sensitivity, and round-the-clock support for disrupted travelers.
?
Despite a backdrop of economic uncertainty and geopolitical flux, many agencies expressed measured confidence in their ability to stay agile and responsive.
?
“Across the board, we heard a consistent message of cautious optimism,” said Bob Sullivan, Chief Commercial Officer and President of Northstar Travel Group. “Power List agencies are staying ahead by investing in technology, supporting travelers through disruption, and remaining nimble in the face of shifting market forces. Their steady leadership is helping move the industry forward — even as the path ahead remains unpredictable.”
?
To qualify for the 2025 Power List, agencies were required to report a minimum of $125 million in gross travel sales in 2024. Sales are defined as gross value of travel products sold worldwide, whether for leisure or corporate purposes, where the agency is the agent of record. Additionally, at least 15% of sales must have been generated within the U.S.
